Jhulan Goswami was born on November 25, 1982, in Chakdaha, West Bengal. She is known for her remarkable pace bowling and holds the record for most wickets in women’s ODIs. Goswami is married to Soumyadeep Roy, a businessman, and the couple maintains a private life away from media attention. Jhulan is passionate about nurturing young talent and currently mentors aspiring cricketers. She maintains a disciplined fitness regime and advocates for women’s sports in India.
Goswami actively supports education initiatives for underprivileged girls through her foundation. She enjoys reading autobiographies and spending time with family when not involved in cricket.
